Mentor, a lexical assistant by litterae.eu

Mentor is a lexical assistant that I developed a few years ago and continue to implement with new resources.

Starting from a given text, Mentor automatically sequences each word, and links it to the respective definition taken from the reference dictionary indicated by the user, thus making vocabulary consultation enormously faster and more convenient.

It is therefore neither an automatic translator nor a CAT software, but it is certainly a tool that can be very useful to professional translators and linguists.

Using Mentor is very simple: just type or paste your sentence or paragraph in the text box, select the reference dictionary from the drop-down menu and then press the Submit button. In no time, Mentor will reference every single word in the text; at this point, all you have to do is click on the referenced word to find the relevant dictionary definition.

A final note: all dictionaries used by Mentor are external resources belonging to their respective owners. I simply choose the ones I think are most suitable, and have them queried by Mentor.
